Product Description

On a nice day at the beach, slippers can be found everywhere! The Hawaiian word, "Holoholo," means "to go for a walk, ride, or sail.” Little readers will enjoy seeing slippers holoholo on a wave, a hook, and on feet. They will also find slippers with a surfer, a crab, and a curious fish. No matter where the slipper goes, the waves will wash it back again to shore.

 ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Karyn Hopper, a Communications and English teacher, grew up in a small New England town and moved to Hawai‘i in 1994. She enjoys writing as a hobby and spending time on the beaches of the North Shore. Holoholo Slipper is inspired by her children’s many lost slippers on their beach adventures.
