For nearly 25 years, The Madden Corporation, parent company of the Welcome to The Islands store, has designed beautiful island-themed products inspired by the art and people of Hawaii.
The first Welcome to The Islands store opened in May 2005 at Ward Centre and its success helped pave the way for store concept openings at other locations on Oahu, Hawaii including Hilo Hattie Nimitz, the recently renovated Dole Plantation in Wahiawa as well as a Hilo Hattie store in Orange County, California. Our newest store is located in the elegant Waikiki Beach Walk shopping complex on Lewers Street, half a block from the Halekulani hotel in Waikiki.
Boasting an inviting interior reminiscent of the living room of a contemporary plantation home, Welcome to The Islands features a sophisticated line of tropical home décor including ceramic stoneware, etched and hand-painted glassware, and dinnerware as well as a delicious selection of made-in-Hawaii gourmet dressings, sauces, jams, teas, cookies, chocolates and more. Also featuring soothing tropical bath and body products in a collection of soaps, lotions, gels and fragrances from Island Bath & Body, Royal Hawaiian, Wicked Wahine and Perfumes Polynesia.
